Welcome to my cheese blog! In the course of this blog I hope to discover, taste, and experiment with as many Israeli cheeses as possible and share my experiences with you.  Israel is home to thousands of delicious, unique cheeses.  However, for those who are visiting or new to Israel, the cheese terrain can be difficult to navigate because many of the cheeses you might be familiar with (cheddar, mozzarella, sour cream) are not as common here or are called by a different name.  I hope to clear that up by describing various cheeses, categorizing them, offering substitutions in recipes, etc.  If there is a particular cheese you would like to see reviewed here, please send me a message below.
